한무리교회 로고와 그 의미

1. ‘H’ 는 한무리의 첫 글자이고 동시에 교회 기둥이다.
두 기둥은 십자가와 부활을 상징하며, 비둘기 모양은 성령의 역사로 교회의 정문 위에 있다. ‘mr’ 은 양을 상징하는 한무리이다.

2. 둥근 양선(위, 아래)은 지구 모양과 동시에 성경을 편 형태로 온 세상에 편만한 복음을 상징하는데, 위의 둥근선(3선)은 하늘과 삼위일체의 하나님을 상징하며, 3개의 줄이 한 선에 붙는다.동시에 하나님의 약속을 표시하는 무지개 모양을 포함하고 있다. 아래 선은 땅을 상징하여 이 땅 위에 교회임을 표시한다.

1) 요한복음 10장 14~16절 말씀을 근거로 아직 우리(교회)에 들지 아니한 모든 사람이 그리스도의 무리(양)가 되어 오직 한 목자인 예수 그리스도의 인도를 받는 모임인 교회를 상징하며
2) 한무리란 양무리 혹은 양떼를 지칭함으로 교인을 말하고 있음 (벧전 5:2~4, 행 20:28, 시23)

신학적배경
한무리란 같은 무리란 뜻으로 온 우주적 교회와 동일과 단일을 뜻하는 신학적 의미가 부여되고 있다. 　 　

일반적 의미
1) “한”을 짧게 발음하면 하나의 교회로, 길게 발음하면 한없는 크기로서의 수많은 무리 를 뜻함으로 즉 하나의 많은 교인들을 의미하며,
2) “한”이란 역사적인 혹은 미국문화에서의 한민족(한국)을 지칭하므로 한인교회라는 특수성의 의미를 가지고 있음

Meaning of“Han Moory” (Church Name)

Biblical Meaning
　 1)“Han Moory” means our congregation is a gathering of people striving to invite nonbelievers to be in the same gathering under the guidance of Jesus Christ as the only shepherd based on John Chapter 10 verses 14 through 16.
2)“Han Moory” means a flock of sheep that symbolizes Christians. (1 Peter 5:2-4, Acts 20:28, Ps.23)

“Han Moory” means the same group, which represents the unity of all churches in the world.
　 　
Literary Meaning
1)“Han” means “one” when pronounced with a short vowel and “large” when pronounced with a long vowel, which altogether contains the meaning of one church with many members.

2)“Han” also means “Korean” to emphasize the historical importance of our church as a Korean-American church in American society. 

　
이런 교회가 되게 하소서

한무리교회는 장로교 배경의 신앙과 신학이 있는 목사가 시무하는 전통적인 교회입니다. 그러나 교파와 전통보다는 하나님의 주권과 말씀을 우선으로 하며 율법적인 규례보다는 은혜와 성령의 역사를 중요시하는 교회입니다. 특히 인간의 철학과 도덕 이상이 되는 십자가와 부활이 강조됨은 물론 치유의 능력과 기적을 오늘, 이 현실에서도 믿는 생명있는 교회가 될 것입니다.

경건의 모양보다는 죄를 이기고 불의를 이기는 경건의 능력을, 자채행사보다는 복음 전파를 앞서 실행하는 교회가 될 것입니다.

싸늘하게 죽어가는 세계를 가슴에 안고 복음의 심장이 그들에게 이식될 때까지 결코 눈을 감지 않고 영혼을 구하고 지키고 보내는 이민자의 사명을 다 할 것입니다 .

특히 주님 중심의 이민생활 – 가정생활 , 자녀교육 – 을 중요시 하여 이민사회에 기여함은 물론 다음 세대에 믿음을 전수하고 하나님의 역사를 계계승승 높이 드는 주님의 봉화가 될 것입니다 .

오늘 무엇보다도 종교기념주일인 것을 숙지하면서 오직 은혜로, 오직 말씀으로, 오직 믿음으로 그리스도 만의 생명성과 창조성과 영원성을 지닌 본래적인 교회로서 그 개혁의 불을 계속 돋울 것입니다 . 오직 신랑되신 분만을 사랑하는 순결한 신부로 살다가 주님을 맞는 영원한 교회로 들림 받을 것 입니다 .

이왕 남의 터 위에 집을 짓지 아니하는 어리석음 (?) 을 가진바엔 저 밑바닥 – 베들레헴 말구유 – 까지 내려간다해도 주님을 영화롭게 하는 일이라면 주저치 않는 한무리가 될 것입니다 .

Our Church History and Conviction

Our church shares the presbyterian tradition.
Our church pastor has a presbyterian background and theological training.

Yet, denomination and tradition must not supersede the authority of and the Word of God.
Our church, therefore, places greater importance in grace and in the work of the Holy Spirit than in rules and regulation.
Our church goes beyond human philosophy and ethics, emphatically espousing the Gospel of crucifixion and resurrection.
We also believe in supernatural healing and miracles, a testament of a living, breathing church of God.
Instead of just taking on the form of godliness,
we believe in the power of godliness that helps conquer sin and unrighteousness; and instead of concentrating on events within our church, we put evangelism in the forefront.

For our church each day is Reformation Day–Only Faith (sola fidelis), Only scripture (sola scriptura), and Only Christ (sola Christo).
With this in mind, our church is once again empowered with the gift of life, procreation, and eternal life.
Our resolve, then, is not to build upon another foundation.
Han Moory Church will not hesitate to serve even at the lowliest of position–the manager in Bethlehem–when it comes to glorifying God.

Countless numbers are steadily dying away because of a weak Spiritual organ.
We will not rest until we have transplanted our own hearts into theirs.
Furthermore, as a bride, our church will keep our eyes open until our groom Lord Jesus returns and lifts us up.
